Erna Faye Holt, 78, of Ezzell, passed away Nov. 30. 2014. She was born on May 1, 1936 to William A. & Verna Chambers Reid in Ezzell. She married Leon J. Holt on Nov. 22, 1952 in Hallettsville. She was a member of Church of Christ of Ezzell.

Erna is survived by: son Dwayne Holt & wife Kathy of Hallettsville; 2 daughters, Patricia Thurber & husband Arlyn of Cheney, Washington, and Kathryn Shults & husband Richard of Floresville, TX; sister Billie Smith of Hallettsville; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.

Erna was preceded in death by: her husband; 2 daughters, Rhonda Jean Ware and Linda Faye Mucala; parents; and 3 son-in-laws, Eugene Mucala, Michael Ware and John Muha.

Funeral Service: 10 am, Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at Kubena Funeral Home of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Pallbearers: William Holt, Shane Herbert, Gray "Scooter" Herbert, Alex Holt, Jordan Faust, and Robert Yancy. Burial: Salem Cemetery in Ezzell. Memorials: Dementia Society of America or Charity of Your Choice.
