Emily C. Sitka, 95, of Shiner, passed away Oct. 16, 2011. She was born on June 16, 1916 to William M. & Annie Pustejovsky Morisak in Worthing, Texas. She was a member of KJZT, SPJST, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Emily is survived by: brother Jerry Morisak of Hallettsville; 2 sisters, Julie Battaglia of Houston, and Albina Belinoski of New Waverly; 2 grandchildren, Kenneth Wenske & wife Judy of Yoakum, and Daryl Wenske & wife Cindy of Magnolia; and 7 great grandchildren, Colton, Clayton, Miranda, and Emma Wenske; and Falon, Lauven, and Megan Christianson.

Emily was preceded in death by: 1st husband Edwin E. Pavlicek; 2nd husband Julius F. Sitka; parents; daughter Evelyn Wenske; granddaughter Melinda Wenske Christianson; 2 brothers, Bill and Steve Morisak; and 3 sisters, Louise Seitz, Mary Morisak, and Justine Quitta.

Funeral Mass Service: 11:30 am, Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 5 pm, Wednesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 6 pm, Wednesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Burial: Worthing Cemetery.
