January 12, 1918 – February 3, 2010
Elmer retired from Shell Oil Company and retained ties with a number of his fellow retirees in Sheridan. He loved to garden, paint pictures, make wine, and visit with friends. His artistic side would reveal his sense of humor in cartoons. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 62 years, and Church of Christ.
Elmer is survived by: brother Hubert Cecil Enloe & wife Willie Mae of Cleveland; sister Dr. Sue Enloe Permenter & husband William Mitchell of Nassau Bay, Texas; 13 nephews; and 3 nieces which includes his closest niece Shirlee Zajicek & husband Carl of Ganado.
Elmer was preceded in death by; his wife Emma, parents, 7 brothers, and 1 sister.
Graveside Service: 11 am, Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at Cheetham Cemetery, Sheridan, performed by the Masonic Lodge members. Memorials: Hospice of South Texas.
