IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth “Libby”
Parks Bludau
July 7, 1962 – March 9, 2021
Elizabeth "Libby" Parks Bludau, 58 of Hallettsville, passed away March 9, 2021. She was born July 7, 1962 in Victoria, Texas, to Patsy and the late Thomas "Tex" Parks. She graduated from Victoria High School and was voted Most Beautiful and was the Homecoming Queen her senior year. After a few years, she was seen around Hallettsville, where she met the love of her life, Ronnie. They built a life together and completed their family with their two beautiful girls, Callie and Addie. Her family was the most important thing to her, which included her beloved chocolate labs.
Libby was a phenomenal woman who was a blessing to all those around her, from her family to the generations of students she taught and inspired over her almost 30-year career as a teacher at Hallettsville High School. She was an amazing Student Council sponsor for over twenty years. During this time, she started the Hallettsville High School Hitfest, brought Blood Drives to the high school and was known for the many amazing fundraisers throughout the school year. She will be sorely missed by all her students, past and present, as well as her co-workers, and everyone she met. To know her was to smile. She played a positive role in so many lives. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, mentor and the best and most loyal friend you could ever have.
Libby is survived by: her husband of 36 years, Ronnie Bludau; two daughters, Callie and Addie; mother Patsy Parks of Victoria; brothers Tommy Parks (Debbie) of Sugarland, and Kelly Parks (Audrey) of Victoria.
