Edwin C. Aulick went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Ed was born to Dr. Marcus and Mary Agnes Aulick in Fairvilla, Florida on February 10, 1931.
Ed was raised in Kentucky since he was 6 years old; he graduated from Butler High School in Falmouth, KY, and served in the US Air Force until 1972. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. While in San Antonio, Ed met and married the love of his life, Judy, in 1974, and spent the remaining 40 years loving his family as he loved life. In 1997, Ed and Judy moved to Hallettsville, Texas, where Ed was an active member in the Catholic Church.
Ed was a member of the VFW, American Legion and was a Third Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Ed was an avid reader, a skilled carpenter and a crossword puzzle enthusiast. Ed was a gentle and loving husband, father, brother, son and friend and will be missed by many that loved and admired him.
Ed is survived by his wife Carolyn (Judy) Aulick, sons Gregory Aulick and Edwin Conor Aulick & wife Antoinette, granddaughter Cayla Marie Aulick, and brother Raymond Aulick.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Aulick.
Memorial Funeral Mass Service: 10 am Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville; with Rosary starting at 9:30 am. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
