Edward Paul Zapalac, 87, of Hallettsville, passed away February 4, 2023.  He was born in Hallettsville, to Eddie & Marcella Drozd Zapalac, on August 12, 1935.  He was business owner of his radiator repair shop in Hallettsville.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.  His interests and passions involved gardening, hunting, farming and his dogs.

Edward is survived by his brother Melvin Zapalac and numerous nieces & nephews.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Mass Service: 11 am, Friday, February 10, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation starting at 5 pm, Thursday, with Rosary starting at 7 pm, at Kubena Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Allan Berger, Rodney Haas, Dennis Dworsky, Christopher Olivarez, Ralph Olivarez and David Zapalac. Officiant: Rev. John Affum. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church or donor's choice. Entombment: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
