Edward Milton Mirick Jr., 89, of Dallas, passed away April 29, 2016 at his home. He was born on April 2, 1927 to Edward M. & Hallie Brooks Mirick Sr. in Houston. He married Billie Dean Timm on July 24, 1964 in Hallettsville.

Edward is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Edward was preceded in death by: his wife Billie; parents; and 3 brothers, Gene Nelson Mirick, James Ronald Mirick and Hubert Ray Mirick.

The family would like to extend thanks to his caregivers, Gary Johnson, Zena Brown, Galinda Jackson, Marsha Jackson and Vera Hornbuckle who took wonderful care of him over the past 10 years.

Graveside Service: 10 am, Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Hallettsville City Cemetery. After the Graveside , there will be a Memorial Service at Sublime Baptist Church. Officiant: Rev. Jimmy Herrington. Memorials: Donor's Choice.
