Edna Mae Evans, 61, of Yoakum, passed away Dec. 16, 2009. She was born on Dec. 25, 1947 to James S. & Albina Gold Loos in Brookshire, Texas. She married Royce W. Evans Sr. on Sept. 23, 1967 at First Baptist Church of Hallettsville. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Yoakum.

Edna is survived by: son Royce "Bubba" Evans Jr. & wife Michelle of Yoakum; daughter Jennifer Evans of Yoakum; her mother Albina Loos of Yoakum; 2 brothers, Johnny and Daniel Loos of Shiner; 3 sisters, Ruby Zander of Alice, Nelda Williams of Yoakum, and Susan High of Mississippi; and 8 grandchildren, Gage Evans, Keeley Evans, Harley Wehman, Payton Evans, Denver Evans, Hannah Wehman, Allison Evans, and Cavin Chandler.

Edna was preceded in death by: her husband Royce; daughter Terrie Lynn Wehman; grandson James Evans Chandler; her father James; and sister Debra Jo Dupree.

Funeral Service: 2 pm, Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at Kubena Funeral Home. Visitation: 2 pm, Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Dwight Reagan. Pallbearers: Gage Evans, Payton Evans, Randy High, Ronnie Garrett, Travis Loos, and Bruce Wehman. Honorary Pallbearers: Keeley Evans, Harley Wehman, Denver Evans, Hannah Wehman, Allison Evans, and Cavin Chandler. Burial: Salem Cemetery. Memorials: Accolade Hospice of Yoakum.
