IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edna L.
Brown
September 15, 1914 – August 18, 2008
Edna continued to live in Pasadena after Lee passed away in 1990. She wanted to be near her children and grandchildren. She was always a most caring mother and grandmother who always had an open heart and ear for the many problems her "brood" came to her with. Her advice was never wrong as hard as it was to hear sometimes. She truly loved her family and they were her whole world.
Edna loved to garden & grow flowers, especially pink roses. She had a great "green thumb", and could grow anything.
Edna is survived by: 2 sons, Douglas Brown and Winston Brown, both of Pasadena; daughter Linda Prince of South Houston; 10 grandchildren, Tammy, Terri, Karen, Deanna, Travis, Todd, Rhonda, Jeannie, Marshall, and Bryan; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Edna was preceded in death by: first husband Frank J. Brown Sr., eldest son Frank Brown Jr.; second husband & best friend in life, Lee Evans Brown on Feb. 13, 1990; parents; 2 sisters, Nannie Upchurch and Nora Duncan; and brother Ernest Crabb.
