Edith Mary (Cunda) Konarik, 92, of Hallettsville, with hearts full of love and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother. She passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2026, surrounded by the comfort of her family. Born on August 15, 1933, in Robstown, TX, she was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Annie Hermis Cunda.

Her and her husband built a warm and welcoming home that always served as a gathering place for those she loved. Many good memories of holiday gatherings are shared amongst the family. Her grandchildren enjoyed the week with the grandparents and all raved about her pickles. She will be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart, strong will and determination and her love of gardening, camping, traveling and gambling. She was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart and St. Mary’s parishes in Hallettsville and gave generously for the annual picnics.
