Obituary

Earlene M. Hall, 88, of Hallettsville, beloved mother, grandmother great grandmother and faithful servant, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, in Hallettsville.  She was born on August 4, 1933, in North Zulch, Madison County, Texas.

Earlene was a homemaker and always a dedicated volunteer in her church family.  She took delight in being a charter member of the volunteer staff at the George H. Bush Memorial Library in College Station, where she continued as a docent for several years.  She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, quilting and spending time with her family.

Earlene is survived by:  2 sons, Stan L. Hall & wife Mary of Hallettsville and Steve L. Hall & wife Sandye of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Scott L. Hall (Lindsay) of San Marcos, TX, and Stephanie Hall Tompkins (Bradley) of Jackson, MS; great grandchildren, Sage, Copeland, Maxine & Olive Hall, and Amelia Tompkins; sister Aileen NeSmith (Bobby); sisters-in-law, Wanda Manning and Janice Manning; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Earlene was preceded in death by:  husband L.L. (Joe) Hall; grandson Aaron K. Hall; parents M.I. Manning & Ozelle Taylor Manning; sister Joyce Granthan & husband Ross; and brothers, Lloyd & James B. Manning.

Funeral Service: 2 pm, Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Willowhole Church; with Visitation starting at 1 pm (12912 FM 1372, North Zulch, TX). Officiant: Pastor Duane NeSmith. Pallbearers: Scott Hall, Sage Hall, Copeland Hall, Bradley Tompkins, Rusty Manning and Larry Grantham. Memorials: Hospice of South Texas or doner's choice.
