Dorothy Rybak, 92, of Hallettsville, passed away April 21, 2017. She was born on July 25, 1924, to James J. & Annie Wasek Hrncir in Moravia. She married Joe F. Rybak III on April 29, 1946 in Moravia. She was an organist, member of the Altar Society and Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia.

Our Mother's greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and now so many great grandchildren! Her talents included quilting, embroidering, sewing dresses for her daughters, and bird watching. A family member perfectly described Mother when she remarked that Mother was "a kid magnet". Her winks and the twinkle in her eyes always be treasured by all.

Dorothy is survived by: 4 daughters, Ann Korinek & husband Philip of Victoria, Vernice Pohler & husband Harvey Lee of Shiner, Darlene Mastromonico & husband Charles of Aiken, SC, and Rickie Jo Bonner & husband John of Weimar; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren with one on the way.

Dorothy was preceded in death by; husband Joe, parents, brother Jerome Hrncir, and sister Ellenora Hrncir.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia. Visitation: 6 pm, Monday, at Kubena Funeral Home; with Rosary starting at 7 pm. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials (in lieu of flowers): Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church or Donor's Choice. Burial: Ascension of our Lord Catholic Cemetery.
