Obituary

Dorothy Louise Lenertz, 72, of Hallettsville, passed away Nov. 16, 2012. She was born on Aug. 21, 1940 to Ludwig & Louise Brown Pustejovsky in Hallettsville. She married Donald J. Lenertz on Oct. 15, 1977 in San Antonio.

Dorothy was a vibrant member of society. She and her husband, Don, were co-owners of Auto Parts and Machine Company where Dorothy worked as Office Manager/Accounts Payable for over 30 years. She had been a member of a sorority club, Junior Service League and Women's Pilot Club. She and some friends were instrumental in the Downtown Main Street Christmas decorations in Port Lavaca, Texas. Dorothy loved cooking, music, dancing and decorating. Upon retirement, selling of the business in 1998 and moving to Ezzell, she enjoyed feeding and watching the wildlife at her country paradise. She loved entertaining and was a gracious hostess. Dorothy made everyone feel welcomed. Family and friends were very important to her and she cherished times spent with her grandchildren. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all.

Dorothy is survived by: son, Mark Lienemann & wife Melissa of Victoria; daughter, Lori Balfanz & husband Gene of Port Lavaca; father of her children, Bill Lienemann & wife Joyce of Victoria; brother, Anthony Pustejovsky of Port Lavaca; 3 sisters, Dolores P. Johnson of Hallettsville, Gladys McMasters of El Campo, and Patricia O'Brien & husband Charles of Lewisville, Texas; and 5 grandchildren, Kody Balfanz, Darick Canion & wife Lynlea, Brett Lienemann, Morgan Lienemann, and Mallory Lienemann. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by: her husband Donald; parents; son, Arlyn Lienemann; and step-daughter, Donna Klaas; brother-in-laws, S.R. McMasters and Billy Wayne Johnson.

Memorial Service: 7 pm, Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Kubena Funeral Home. Visitation: 5 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Memorials: Hospice of South Texas, American Cancer Society or Donor's Choice.
