Doraine Klapuch Buck, 87, of Hallettsville, passed away Jan. 13, 2011. She was born on April 6, 1923 to Joseph & Frances Broz Klapuch in Moravia, Texas. She married Aubrey A. Buck on Nov. 20, 1950, in Taft, Texas. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies Altar Society, and Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia.

Doraine is survived by: her daughter Karen Jansky of Houston; sister Jewel Goddard of Fort Worth; grandson John V. Jansky III; 4 great grandchildren, Jordyn Jansky, Jakub Jansky, Christen Roberts & husband Clinton, and Chad Jansky.

Doraine was preceded in death by: her husband Aubrey; parents; son-in-law Johnnie V. Jansky Jr.; and brother Marvin Klapuch.

Funeral Mass Service: 1 pm, Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia. Visitation: 3pm, Saturday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Saturday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: John Jansky III, Chad Jansky, Clinton Roberts, James Jansky, Tim Klapuch, Rich Klapuch, Daniel Klapuch, and Kirk Griffith. Burial: Ascension of our Lord Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church.
