Donald L. Einkauf, 79, of Jupiter, Florida, passed away on February 11, 2023. He was born in El Campo, Texas, on June 20, 1943, to Alvin and Libertha Einkauf.

Don Graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in mechanical engineering.  While working at Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut, he met his wife, Saundra Brylowe.  They later moved to Houston, Texas, where they raised their family of three boys until relocating to South Florida in 1988.  Here, Don worked on designing and troubleshooting jet engines, which was his passion.  After retiring, he was able to travel the world with his wife.  He particularly enjoyed a riverboat cruise through Europe to celebrate his German ancestry.  He enjoyed many trips to visit family in Hallettsville, TX, and help on the farm.  He also traveled locally and enjoyed many family trips to Disney World.  He loved to share a great meal with his family at his favorite restaurants.  He loved fried chicken, BBQ, and sweet iced tea.  He loved science fiction and was a big football fan.  He could often be seen in front of the TV engrossed in a game.  Don was very knowledgeable on many subjects and liked sharing anecdotes with family and friends from his life experiences.

He loved his family and is survived by:  his wife of 55 years, Saundra; three children, Bret, Brian, and Jeffrey; two grandchildren, Victoria and Matthew; and a soon-to-be-born grandson.  Don is also survived by his brother Kenneth and his family.

We will miss him deeply. Rest in peace with the Lord.
