Donald Clyde Adams Sr., 90, of Hallettsville, passed away November 19, 2022.  He was born on October 5, 1932 to Mary Evelyn (Margie) Goode and Carl Adams of Louise Texas.  He started working at the age of 8 years to contribute to the family after his father died.  Don worked until the time he volunteered to join the Airforce during the Korean War.  He met and married Louise Smith in Houston Texas where they lived and started a family.

After marrying, Don managed a gas station and after that was in route sales, first working for Coca Cola, then Dentler Potato Chips, Lance Snack Products, and was an independent distributor for Mrs. Grass Soup.  Don also worked for Kubena Funeral Home for 20+ years all the way up to his death.

Don lived for family and his door was always open.  He shared all he had with anyone in need.  He celebrated his 90th birthday on October 1, 2022 surrounded by a large group of family and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by; his wife Louise, parents Margie Goode & Carl Adams, his brother Carl Adams & wife Doris Adams, and his sister Jackie Turman & her husband E.R. Turman.

Don is survived by:  his children, Margie Behan & husband Lance Behan, Jackie Konarik & husband Luke Konarik, Don Jr. &wife Sharon, Robbi Adams, and Raymond Adams & wife Rhonda Adams; grandchildren;  Mary Nelson & husband Bill Nelson, Jason Ward & wife Becky Ward, Donald Adams III & wife Amy Dark, Chris Behan, Alison Peck & husband Marshall Peck, and TJ Adams; great grandchildren; Link Adams, Anna Behan, Caly Adams, Emily Behan, Kaitlyn Ward, Cole Nelson, Keira Nelson, Vivian Peck, and Ava Peck.  Don is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial Funeral Service: 10 am, Saturday, January 14, 2022, at Kubena Funeral Home; with visitation starting at 8 am.
