IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dolores Jane
Ludwig
August 10, 1954 – December 21, 2010
Dolores was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to us all. She had a wonderful sense of humor, laughed a lot and always joked around with everyone. She loved going to bingo, playing cards, and visiting with her family and friends. She was also a very strong person and took any obstacle life thrown at her in stride. Some of her most notable traits were that she would always speak her mind and was rarely soft spoken.
She worked at Yoakum Community Hospital as a nurse's aid. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed all the people she worked with. She took a lot of pride in doing her work. Dolores would always say that it was important to take care of everyone the way you would want to be cared for yourself, and that she always did. Dolores was definitely one of a kind and will be greatly missed but always remembered for the great person she was.
Dolores is survived by: her husband Larry; son Brent Ludwig & wife Amy of San Antonio; 3 grandchildren, Emery, Emily and Brian; her mother Annie Etzler of Hallettsville; 5 brothers, Henry Etzler Jr. of Inez, Robert Etzler, Daniel Etzler, Kenneth Etzler, and Michael Etzler all of Hallettsville; and 3 sisters, Anita Hermes of Hallettsville, Mary Ann Berger of Shiner, and Charlene Miller of Hallettsville.
Dolores was preceded in death by her father, Henry F. Etzler Sr.
