Dolores Emma Krause of Hallettsville, passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 92.  She was born February 10, 1931, in Moulton, Texas, to Anton and Emma Heinrich Billimek Sr. She married Julius Hilmer Krause April 25, 1949 in Moulton, Texas.

Dolores was preceded in death by:  her parents; husband; 2 sisters Evelyn Schoenvogel and Lillian Wenske; brother Anton J. Billimek; and infant brother Joseph Billimek.

She is survived by: daughter Shirley Dormire of Houston; 2 sons Gary Krause & wife Kimberly of Houston and David Krause & wife Dilcia of Houston; grandchildren Brian Dormire & wife Angela, Stacie Dormire, Stefanie Bruton & husband Michael, and Jennefer Krause & Mike Broll; great-grandchildren Katalina, Jacqueline, Robert, and Barrett Bruton, David and Kylie Broll.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia, Texas. Visitation :  starting at 9 am, Thursday, at church and Rosary starting at 9:30 am. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials : Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church or donor's choice. Burial: Ascension of our Lord Catholic Cemetery.
