Delores Patsy Menking Korenek, 58, of Sealy, Texas, went to her heavenly home on July 31, 2022.  She was born to the late Eugene Carl Menking Sr. & Patsy Jo Henderson Menking in Conroe, Texas, on October 10, 1963.  As a child she always had a love for animals.  She would always have a dog by her side.  She joined 4-H as a child to learn more about animals.  When she got older, she joined FFA as her love for animals grew.  If it had anything that involved animals, she wanted to be a part of it.

Delores would work at Port City Stockyards and with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She enjoyed working when they received, shipped out, and with the sale of the livestock.  She loved reading, crocheting, riding her bike, helping anyone in need, and help her children any way she could.  As her children grew, she would incorporate the love of animals that she had on to them.  She would be involved in all her children's activities.  She always encouraged her children to try their best at everything that they set their minds to.  If she was told that she could not do something, she was destined to prove them wrong.  That she could do anything and everything she put her mind to accomplish.  She always had love in her heart. She would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need any way she could.

Delores leaves behind her husband Joseph Korenek of 39 years of marriage.  She married Joseph Fred Korenek at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church in Schulenburg, Texas on May 24, 1983.  She also leaves behind her four daughters, Eugenia Korenek, Carissa Johnson, Kassady Korenek, and Kaitlyn Robles.  Also leaves three grandchildren, granddaughter Laura Robles, grandson Lincoln Robles, and grandson Levi Robles.  Her brother Eugene Carl Menking Jr and her sister Margaret Braiser.

Delores had a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed by family, friends, and a community of people who loved her.
