Delores Ann Holik Grahmann, 73, of Hallettsville passed away peacefully on July 6, 2018. She was born on September 29, 1944 to Willie J. and Agnes Hlavac Holik. She met the love of her life, Lawrence Wayne Grahmann, in Moravia. They were married on August 9, 1969 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. She was blessed with four children; Douglas and wife Sherri, Glenda and husband Ben, the late Bonnie Michelle, and Jason and wife Laura.
Delores enjoyed fishing, bingo, gambling at Coushatta, watching Price is Right and feeding cattle at their farms. Her greatest joys in life were watching her children and grandchildren compete in sports, agricultural events and was the biggest Hallettsville Brahma fan! She loved playing dominoes, shopping, selling raffle tickets and was no stranger to throwing parties and celebrations. Her favorite time of year was deer season, where she could be found sitting alongside a campfire surrounded with family and friends, enjoying a cold beer and making memories that last a lifetime. She enjoyed spending time with her family outside of her home at Stevens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Hallettsville. Delores had a loving heart and never knew a stranger.
Delores was very involved in her community and was a member of numerous organizations, including; Catholic Daughters of America, Christian Mothers, American Legion, Hallettsville Young Farmers, and was a faithful volunteer at the election polls.
Delores was always one to entertain but her work ethic was unlike any other. She was devoted to helping her husband take care of cattle, helping her children with all of their extracurricular activities and took care of some of her grandchildren when she could.
Delores is survived by: her husband Lawrence; sons, Douglas & wife Sherri, and Jason & wife Laura; daughter Glenda Svetlik & husband Ben. She is also survived by: brother Marvin Holik & wife Monica; sisters, Nancy Pavlik &husband Leroy, and Joyce Svetlik & husband Leon. She has six grandchildren; Tyler, Cole, Jenna and Taylor Grahmann, and Kaylee & Kyle Svetlik. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by; her parents, and daughter Bonnie.
Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home; with Rosary starting at 7 pm. Pallbearers : Tyler Grahmann, Cole Grahmann, Bradley Grahmann, Stephen Grahmann, Chase Svetlik, David Holik and Kyle Svetlik. Honorary Pallbearers: her three granddaughters, her Godchildren, nieces and nephews. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Charity of your choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
