Obituary

Debra Orsak Kolos, 61, of Hallettsville TX, passed away on December 10, 2013, after a courageous battle with ALS/Lou Gehrig's. Debby was born July 13, 1952 in Yoakum, TX, to Charlie E. Orsak and Lillian Hagan Orsak. Debby attended school in Yoakum. She was raised in the Morris School Community with her parents and two sisters. She married Louis Kolos Jr., February 20, 1970 and they raised two children.

Debby was a loving wife, committed mother, and grandmother. She had two wonderful sisters and faithful friends, her favorite times were spent surrounded by her children and grandchildren, her happiest times on earth. She was a devoted Christian and spent many hours with Joyce Meyers and Joel Osteen on television, she also attended First Baptist church in Hallettsville, TX.

Debby is survived by her mother Lillian Hagan Orsak, Husband Louis Kolos Jr., Son Jeff Kolos and wife Shannon, Daughter Brandi Kolos, Grandchildren – Justin Kolos, Brandin Aguilar, Kyleigh Kolos, Laina Kolos, and Summer Stang, Two Sisters Carol Wietstruck and husband Gene, Kathy Brown and husband Bobby and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Debby was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Orsak.

Though she will be missed we take comfort and knowing that she is no longer in pain and fighting this terrible disease and is in heaven where she is talking, walking, and being free at last!

Debby, we will miss you and take comfort in knowing that we will all be together again someday, now run, talk, laugh, and smile.

Funeral Service: 2 pm, Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Hallettsville.
Visitation: 12 noon, Friday, at First Baptist Church.
Officiants: Rev. Terry Horton and Brother Henry Learn.
Pallbearers: Scott Hagan, Jason Hagan, Kenny Renger, Trinity Kalmus, David Koppenol, Wes McGuffin, Charles Chatham, Kullen Kendrick, and Kade Kendrick.
Memorials: may be made to the MDA/ALS Association by donating to the research we one day may be able to help those who are fighting this disease and from another loved one from being destroyed.
Burial: Hallettsville City Cemetery.
