David is survived by: his wife Jennifer; 2 sons, Eric and Casey Stinnett of Hallettsville; daughter Pvt. Heather Stinnett, who is training at Fort Jackson, SC; his mother Evelyn of Hallettsville; 3 brothers, Robert "Bobby" Stinnett Jr. of Sealy, Barney Stinnett & wife Sherry of Vidor, and Bruce Stinnett & wife Angie of Kingwood; 3 sisters, Rebecca Tanner of Dallas, Ramona Harrison & husband Lester of Brenham, and Robin "Robbie" Burt of Houston; cousin Joel & Nancy Ponton of Hallettsville; lifelong friends, Jude Sheppard of Vidor, and Steve Burt of Alvin; and numerous nephews and nieces.

David was preceded in death by: his father Robert E. Stinnett Sr.; grandparents, Joel Bennett and Allie Rae "Frankie" Ponton; and brother-in-law Dana Tanner.

Funeral Service: 4 pm, Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 at Church of Christ in Ezzell, TX. Visitation: 2 pm, Wednesday, at Church of Christ in Ezzell. Officiate: Pastor Mike Ezzell. Pallbearers: Bob Stinnett, Barney Stinnett, Bruce Stinnett, Joel Stinnett, Lester Harrison, Mike Logan. Burial: Salem Cemetery.
