Darlene is survived by: 2 daughters, Brandi Barchak and husband Brad of McKinney, and Christine Weaver and Husband Gerald of Batson; son David Meyer and Wife Julie of Eagle Lake; 4 sisters, Judy Curtner of Sublime, Margaret Popp of Louise, Sue Boyd of Brazoria, and Shirley Fraunfelker of Lake Jackson; 3 brothers, Robert (Bobby) Meyer of Eagle Lake, Charles (Bruno) Meyer of Sublime, and Jimmy (J.D.) Meyer of Brazoria; 5 grandchildren, Bayleigh Shyann, Breanna, Kenneth, Kayla, and Gerisan; and nieces and nephews, Brian Cook and numerous others.

Darlene was preceded in death by; Parents, brother Douglas Meyer, sister Carolyn Meyer Noska, and niece Christie Meyer.

Service: 12 pm, Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Sublime Baptist Church. Visitation: 3 pm, Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Prayer Service: 7pm, Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Brother George Hayhurst. Pallbearers: Shawn Meyer, Dustin Meyer, Allen Bowen, Chad Noska, Craig Noska, Jeff Grizle, and Billy Whipple. Burial: Geiger Cemetery.
