Mr. Dale G. Schulte, 70, of Hallettsville, died Jan. 7, 2008 after a struggle with cancer for the last 1 ½ years. He was born on Sept. 8, 1937 to William F. & Helen Greer Schulte Hallettsville. He married Bernice Mozisek Schulte on July 21, 1962 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Dale was a member of KJT and St. Mary's Church.

Dale enjoyed outdoor activities which included hunting, fishing, camping as well as metal art and playing ball with his best friend Sugar, his Boston Terrier.

Dale is survived by: his wife Bernice; daughter Kristi Grahmann & husband Kenneth of Pasadena; mother Helen Schulte of Hallettsville; 2 brothers, Herschel Schulte & wife Linda of Hallettsville, and Billy Schulte & wife Debbie of Victoria; 3 sisters, Lavonne Needham & husband Boyce of Gonzales, Magdalen Steffek & husband Victor, and Cathy Rains & husband Mike of Georgetown; brothers-in-laws & sisters-in-laws, Dan Mozisek, Gilbert & Evelyn Mozisek, Shirley Mozisek all of Hallettsville, and Joe & Clara Mozisek of Shiner; and grandson Joshua Grahmann.

Dale was preceded in death by: his father William F. Schulte; 2 nephews, Robbie Steffek and Quentin W. Schulte; and father & mother-in-laws Joe & Emily Mozisek.

Service: 10:00 am, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation: 12 noon, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 7 pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home; and 9:30 am, Wednesday at St. Mary's Church. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: Daryl Mozisek, Jason Mozisek, Craig Mozisek, Mario Gomez, Travis Schulte, Dan Schulte, Michael Wuensche, and Ronnie Steffek. Honorary Pallbearers: Jeremy Mozisek, and all nieces and nephews. Burial: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: St. Mary's Church, Hospice of South Texas, or American Cancer Society.
