Dale (Helward) Mikulenka born Sept. 1, 1937 peacefully passed away on Mon. Dec. 21, 2020 at the age of 83 years old.  He was here at The Williamsburg House Our Assisted Living Home in Hallettsville, Texas being cared for by our Manager Shelley Hadden & our wonderful staff.  He has bravely been battling Cancer for the past few years.  His parents were Eddie & Helen Mikulenka.  He was my Cousin, My GodFather & One Of My Dearest Friends.  He was a very Successful Actor for over 40 Years.

Dale was as much at home in New York City on Broadway as He was Off Broadway.  He also had a very extensive Television career as well.  He retired in the 90's to return home to Texas & care for his aging Mother.  We found a treasure when we found the Playbills & Programs in his dresser from Plays & Productions from Theaters all across America, Canada & Europe!

As a child I remember getting to go see him at the Alley Theater in Houston & how fascinated I was because he was a Star & yet he was so very humble & kind.

I think it was a perfect way that he left us on the day of the Christmas Star because he truly was a Star.  He'll be forever in our hearts.  He was an outstanding man with a very giving heart.

A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be on Sat. Jan. 23 at 2 PM. at Sacred Heart Church here in Hallettsville, Texas.  Two Organizations that were near & dear to him are:

St.Jude.org & ASPCA.org.
