Obituary

Daisy LaVerne Dellinger, 80, of Hallettsville, passed away April 15, 2012. She was born on April 15, 1932 to Moody & Nettie Bishop Meyer in Lavaca County, Texas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Daisy retired in 1982 from Southwestern Bell after 30 years of service. In 1982, she received her Real Estate License, and worked for a local agency for the next 7 years until permanently retired.

Daisy, before losing her eyesight, was an avid hunter, hunting deer and other game every chance she got. She has always loved music, dancing, and a wonderful circle of friends to socialize with.

Daisy is survived by: Daughter Linda Burch & Husband Gail of Huntsville; Son Larry Dale Anthony of San Antonio; Granddaughter Alisha Kimball of Huntsville; 4 Great Grandchildren, Jay Randall Miller and Justin Miller of Huntsville, Kayla Mae Kimball and Kade Garrett Kimball of Teague; and Great Great Grandson Westyn Miller of Hunsville.

Daisy was preceded in death by: her parents, and son Darrell Wayne Anthony.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Charles Sonnier. Pallbearers: Charles Neumeyer, David Wasserbauer, Shaun Christen, Jay Randall Miller, Justin Miller, and Clay Kimball. Burial: Salem Cemetery. Memorials: Hospice of South Texas
