Cleo P. Muras, 74, of Hallettsville, passed away June 8, 2011. He was born on January 18, 1937 to Willie J. & Lillie Janda Muras in LaGrange, Texas. He married Magdalen Grahmann on July 20, 1968 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. He was a member of KJT, Knights of Columbus, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Cleo is survived by: daughter Loretta Cordes & husband John of Victoria; 2 brothers, Dominic Muras & wife Olga of Dallas, and John A. Muras of Smithville; 3 sisters, Dolores Stryk of Victoria, Georgia Kubicek & husband Eugene of San Antonio, and Mary Grahmann & husband Bernard of Hallettsville; 2 brother-in-laws, Emil Grahmann of Hallettsville, and Clarence Grahmann & wife Evelyn of Edna; sister-in-law Marguerite Grahmann of Hallettsville; 2 grandchildren, Marvin and Michael Cordes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cleo was preceded in death by: wife Magdalen; parents; sister at infancy; and 2 brother-in-laws, Bernard Stryk and Hilbert Grahmann.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 7 pm, Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home; and 9:30 am, Saturday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: Daniel Kubicek, Stephen Grahmann, Jason Krobot, Ed Martinez, Robert Stryk, and Jimmie Cordes. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
