Charles C. Stork, 83, of Hallettsville, passed away May 19, 2012. He was born on May, 15, 1929 to Charles Fredrick & Clara Peters Stork in Ledbetter, Texas. He married Lorene Toll on Sept. 20, 1969 at Bastrop Lutheran Church. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church of Hallettsville.

Charles is survived by: his wife Lorene; 2 daughters, Charlotte Rollins & husband Benny, and Judy Garmon & husband Patrick "Dickie"; son-in-law Daniel Garmon & wife Donna; sister Myrtle Daniels; 4 grandchildren, Heath Garmon & wife Karen, Curtis Garmon, Ethan Walker, and Amanda Lewellyn & husband Mike; 2 grandchildren, Katie & John Rollins; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter Junice Garmon; grandson John Rollins Jr.; sisters, Bertha Schmidt, Ester Buntin, and Ruby Lehman; and brothers, Leo & Gus Stork.

Funeral Service: 10 am, Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at St. Peter Lutheran Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Prayer Service: 6 pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Dr. Alan Williams. Pallbearers: Donald Hajek, Joe Herman, Richard Heneke, Chris Shimek, Leon Koehn, and Dennis Kocian. Honorary Pallbearers: His "Moon" buddies, Clyde Bell, Tony DeBord and Joe Gerlich; and the grandchildren. Burial: Hallettsville City Cemetery. Memorials: St. Peter Lutheran Fellowship Hall or Hospice of South Texas.
