Charles "C.W." Havel Sr., 72, of Sweet Home, passed away March 13, 2013. He was born on Jan. 5, 1941 to Louis & Anita Haas Havel in Sweet Home. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sweet Home.

C.W. is survived by: 2 sons, Charles Havel Jr. & wife Jennifer of Sapulpa, OK, and Joseph Havel of Frisco, TX; 2 daughters Anita Drabek & husband Roy of Moulton, and Sherry Towns & husband Kyle of Aledo, TX; 2 brothers, Marcus B. Havel & wife Pat of Houston, and Johnny D. Havel & wife Anna Mae of Hallettsville; sister-in-law Annie Mae Havel; and 8 grandchildren, Allison Drabek, Garrett Drabek, Sophia Havel, Cassie Myers, Andrew Weedn, Keaton Towns, Kenan Towns, and Stella Towns.

C.W. was preceded in death by: his parents; and 3 brothers, Anton, Joseph, and Louis Havel.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Friday, March 15, 2013, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sweet Home. Visitation: 4 pm, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Tim Kosler. Pallbearers: Roy Drabek, Kyle Towns, Johnny Havel Jr., Chris Havel, Matt Ramsey, Jay Esterak, and Garrett Drabek. Memorials: Charity of your choice. Burial: Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
