Charles "Vic" Dolezal Sr., 87, of Hallettsville, passed away Jan. 16, 2011. He was born on Sept. 18, 1923 to Charles F. & Lula Anderson Dolezal in Hallettsville. He married Mildred Fitch Dolezal on May 27, 1949 in Hallettsville. He was veteran of WWII and member of the American Legion.

Vic is survived by: his wife Mildred; son Charles Dolezal Jr. of Hallettsville; 2 daughters, Shirley Dolezal of Sheridan, and Sybil Riebschlaeger & husband Daniel of Pearland; 2 brothers, Glen Dolezal of Hallettsville, and Milton Dolezal of Houston; 2 sisters, Doris Barnes and Frances Ringo of Hallettsville; 5 grandsons; and 5 great granddaughters.

Vic was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter Pasty Leah Alex; brother Alton Lee Dolezal; and nephew Terry Lee Dolezal.

Memorial Funeral Service: 2 pm, Saturday, January 29, 2011 , at First United Methodist Church of Hallettsville. Officiate: Rev. Lundy Hooten.
