Celedonio G. "David" Toro, 64, of Hallettsville, passed away July 23, 2020.  He was born on March 3, 1956, to Fidel & Macaria Garcia Toro, in Mexico.

David was a very charismatic man. Compassionate, loving, and could always make you laugh!  He enjoyed going to bingo, watching sports, and going out to eat with his spouse, Lupe.  He loved his Dallas Cowboys.  He worked at Grafes for over 20 years and was a very hard working man.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and taking them out on adventures.

David was very much a people person.  He could carry a conversation with anyone and make just about everyone smile.  He was always there to lend a hand and didn't know a stranger.  The whole family loved David and he loved everyone back.  He was always the go to guy for his step daughters and never hesitated to be there for his girls.  We will miss him very much and life is definitely going to be hard without him.  We love you David.

David is survived by:  Guadalupe Rosales; and 8 siblings: Dalmacio, Salvador, Balvino, Santos, Margareta, Agustina, Dominga and Magdalena Toro.

David was preceded in death by:  his parents; and 4 brothers, Salomon, Jose, Alejandro and Ramon Toro.

Funeral Mass Service (All attendees must wear masks): 11 am, Monday, July 27, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville; with Rosary starting at 10:30 am; and Visitation stating at 9 am. Pallbearers: Brian Goodman, Aaron Skelton, Michael Garza, Brian Yole, Steve Garza, Eric Ramirez, Nicholas Ramirez and Russell Eckhardt. Honorary Pallbearers: Roger De La Rosa Jr, Alex De La Rosa, Donovan Villarreal, Zander Martinez, Kaeden Garza and Great Grandsons. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
