Cecilie Marie Bujnoch, 92, of Hallettsville, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016. She was born on December 6, 1924 to Jim J. & Adolfina Urbish Smolik in Shiner. She attended Vysehrad School until the 10 ^th grade. She married Victor A. Bujnoch on June 10, 1946 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Hallettsville. She was a member of the K.J.Z.T. Society #2 and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Cecilie enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking, baking, and mostly listening to polka music.

Cecilie is survived by: 7 children, Benedict (Georgie) Bujnoch, Evelyn (John) Herman, Marvin (Susan) Bujnoch, Marcus (Sharon) Bujnoch, Alice (Larry) Baker, Larry (Denise) Bujnoch, and Charlene (Francis) Klekar; 21 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Cecilie was preceded in death by: her husband Victor; parents; grandson Chris Jares; great grandson Thomas Ponton; brother Jimmie V. Smolik; and 2 sisters, Margaret Filip and Dorothy Marie Petru.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Wednesday, at Kubena Funeral Home with Rosary at 7 pm. Pallbearers: Michael Bujnoch, David Herman, Justin Bujnoch, Brent Bujnoch, Keith Baker, Joshua Bujnoch, and Bryan Klekar. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Donor's Choice. Burial: Koerth Catholic Cemetery.
