Mrs. Carolyn Patricia Kirk Morton, 71, of Hallettsville, died June 19, 2007. She was born on September 30, 1935 to Claude & Myrtle McClure Kirk Sr. in Chicago, IL. She married Richard Morton on June 9, 1966 in Houston, Texas.

Carolyn was a member of the Red Hats, Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce of Hallettsville, Board of Directors for Lavaca Medical Center, and St. James Episcopal Church of Hallettsville.

Carolyn is survived by her son Kirk C. Morton & wife Ellen of Roseville, MI; and 2 granddaughters, Nicole Patricia Morton and Alexandria Marie Morton.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and son Richard Robinson Morton.

Carolyn was a beloved mother and grandmother, she will be loved and sorely missed.
