Caroline A. Polasek, 91, of Hallettsville, passed away Jan. 24, 2012. She was born on June 22, 1920 to William A. & Mary Rosenauer Hollub in Dewitt County, Texas. She married Adolph E. Polasek on Nov. 7, 1944 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Yoakum. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of Americas, KJZT, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Caroline is survived by: 2 sons, David Polasek & wife Mary of Hallettsville and Robert Polasek of Hallettsville; 2 grandchildren, Lisa Motal & husband Matthew, and Jennifer Polasek & fiancé Micheal Bradberry; and great grandchild Jacob Motal.

Caroline was preceded in death by: her husband Adolph; and 2 sisters, Edna Mae Hollub, and Emma B. Pilzner.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Wednesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Wednesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: William Pastucha, David Pastucha, Larry Jahn, Raymond Henke, Roman Henke, and Tommy Henneke. Honorary Pallbearers: Matthew Motal, Jacob Motal, Micheal Bradberry, Leon Jahn, and Harvey Jahn. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
