Cal married Joyce Johnson Cash on June 29, 1940 in Sweetwater, Texas, almost 66 years together. He owned and operated the C.L. Cash Oil & Gas in Levelland. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #797 of Levelland, and First Baptist Church in Hallettsville.

Cal is survived by: wife Joyce; son Allan Roy Cash & wife Kay of Levelland; 3-daughters, Bene Jan Waggoner of Hillsbora, Texas, Brenda Cash Marek & husband Joe of Shiner, Texas, Callie Cash Bailey & husband Robert of Lubbock, Texas; brother Wilburn Cash of Ruidoso, New Mexico; sister Penny Rains of Post, Texas; 12-grandchildren; and 6-great-grandchildren.

Cal was preceded in death by: parents Arthur & Callie Blum Cash; 3-brothers; and 1-sister.

Service: 10am, Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Hallettsville. Officiate: Rev. Terry Horton. Visitation: 9am, Tuesday, at First Baptist Church. Burial: Hallettsville City Cemetery. Pallbearers: David Kent Waggoner, Daniel Brent Waggoner, Lance Allan Waggoner, Loren Wade Waggoner, Robert Callan Bailey, Jim Goman III, and Cash Austin Osborne.
