B.S. "Buddy" Wrobleski Sr., 74, of Hallettsville, passed away June 28, 2009. He was born on December 11, 1934 to Stash & Pearl Garine Wrobleski in Anderson, Texas. He was honorable discharged from the Marines and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Buddy worked for Harris County for 32 years and retired in 1984. Buddy Sr. enjoyed fishing & sitting around a fire with his friends. In the last few years Buddy was grateful to have a friend and buddy whom was always ready to help him out in a rough spot, Marvin Machart Sr. He also enjoyed sitting out under that big oak tree with Marvin with a beer or two. Buddy also had the comfort of being taken care of in life and after by long time friend Janet Machart. Buddy was known as Pappe to his step-grandchildren, which was a big part of his life in the later years.

Buddy will be missed by us all in one way or another.

Buddy is survived by: 3 sons, Buddy Wrobleski Jr. of Hallettsville, Kenneth Wrobleski and Stephen Wrobleski both of Houston; 4 daughters, April Starr Wrobleski of Hallettsville, Donna Rojes of California, Mandy and Jeannie Wrobleski of Houston; brother Andy Winaski of Fort Worth; sister Dorothy Briggs of Houston; and 4 grandchildren.

Buddy was preceded in death by: his parents; 2 sisters, Martha Weslock and Willie Mae Winaski; and 2 brothers, Bill and Pete Winaski.

Service: 10 am, Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Kubena Funeral Home. Visitation: 2 pm, Wednesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Wednesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: Rick Harding, Elder Pehrson, Elder Neilson, Joe Kutach, Trevor Brier, and Camdon Brier. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
