Obituary

Brandy Leigh Renger, 39, beloved daughter of Everett and Kay Renger, died tragically July 2, 2014. She was born (October 28, 1974) and raised in Houston TX. She attended St. Francis Episcopal Day School and graduated from Episcopal High School in 1993. While at Episcopal High School she did numerous modeling jobs for Neal Hamil Modeling Agency.

Brandy is a graduate of LSU, having majored in public relations and business administration. She worked in retail merchandising in Jackson, MS and in recent years worked in her father's orthodontic office. Brandy was an avid LSU fan and was never happier than when the LSU Tigers took the field each season.

She was a loyal friend with a great sense of humor. She was vivacious, loved to laugh, and shared many good times with friends and family. Brandy always brought life and excitement to every party. We will all miss her enthusiasm and love for having fun. She was also well known for her practical jokes. Brandy, you will be greatly missed, never forgotten, and forever loved.

Brandy is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herbert and May Keil, her paternal grandfather Dr. Everett Renger, Sr., and her uncle, Lanny Keil. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters: Kristin Renger Thalmann and Holly Renger Crawford, nieces and nephews: Bailey Kay Thalmann, Chance Thalmann, William (Will) Crawford, Everett (Rett) Crawford and Natalie Kay Crawford, her grandmother: Judith (Mimi) Renger, her uncle: Gene Renger, and a large, loving extended family as well as devoted friends.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 9th at 11:00 am at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 100 N. Promenade, Hallettsville, TX 77964. Following the service, interment will be at the Breslau Cemetery. In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or to one's charity of choice. Pallbearers: Martin Keil, Richard Renger, Gene Renger, Larry Meinkowsky, Roger Sitka, and Tommy Sitka. Officiant: Pastor Andrew Taylor.
