Bowen Wayne Bock, passed peacefully from the arms of his family into the arms of our Lord on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at the age of 3 months and 2 days at Lavaca Medical Center in Hallettsville, TX.

With joyful anticipation, Charlie & Devonne Bock welcomed Bowen into their lives on February 4, 2021.  During his brief time on earth, Bowen touched the lives of his parents, siblings, grandparents, family, and friends with profound joy and love.  Visions of Bowen cuddling in their arms, sleeping on their shoulders, bouncing and laughing on their laps, bathing with siblings, cooing to their words, and smiling in recognition of them will forever be etched into their memories.

Bowen is survived by:  his parents Charlie and Devonne Bock; brother Blaine; sister Blakely; grandparents, John and Frances Bock and Glenn and Barbara Michalcik; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is welcomed into Heaven by his great-grandparents, Clarence & Marge Rehm, Alfons and Lillie Michalcik, Joe N. & Magdalene Steffek, and Charles & Grace Bock.  Bowen will forever remain in their hearts until they hold him again in Heaven one day.

Funeral Mass Service (All attendees must wear a mask): 10am, Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm to 7pm, Wednesday, at Kubena Funeral Home; with a Pray Service starting a 7 pm. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Burial: Hallettsville City Cemetery. Reception: at Hallettsville Knights of Columbus Hall after burial.
