Bobby Dean Pfeffer 93, of Hallettsville, TX, passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on June 15, 2025. He was born on July 11, 1931, in Bellville, Texas. He married the love of his life, Billie Jo Kasprowicz Cloyd Pfeffer on November 20, 1999.
Bobby had an exciting life and was a proud Army man. He served in the Korean War and was awarded 2 Purple Hearts for his bravery.
Bobby was an avid hunter, loved deer hunting, making sausage and having fun around the campfire. He also enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities. He was an expert gardener, growing massive, red tomatoes, lots of cucumbers, beets and anything else that would grow and produce food.
Bobby and Billie Jo attended many of the Opry events in the local area, dancing, laughing and having fun. He and Billie Jo were always together in many outings and trips to Branson to listen to music.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents and various family members, also his fellow veterans.
Bobby is survived by: his wife Billie Jo; his stepson Joe (JoJo) Cloyd & wife Shelby Sonntag Cloyd and family; sons, Wayne Pfeffer & wife MaryAnn and Richard A. Pfeffer; grandson Nick Pfeffer & wife Christine; and 2 great grandchildren, Malachi and Elijah.
Celebration of Life Service: 11 am, Thursday June 19, 2025, at Faith Family Church of Hallettsville, 1262 Hwy. 77 S; with Visitation starting a 10 am. Pallbearers: David Cloyd, Brian Symank, Jerry Todd, Maverick Ludwig, Wayne Pfeffer and Welby Horton. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery of Hallettsville. Luncheon afterwards at Faith Family Church. Memorials: VFW Post: 6382 of Hallettsville or donor's choice.
