Billy Ray Drozd passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024, at the age of 78.  He was born on July 4, 1946, to Jerome and Annilee Brunkenhoffer Drozd in Lavaca County, TX.

Billy married Barbara Jean Hudgeons on December 15, 1962, in Hallettsville. Together they had one son David. Billy retired from the Postal Service in 2016. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also very fond of carpentry.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandchildren Amber & Matthew Drozd, and one brother Clarence Drozd.

Billy is survived by his wife, son David Drozd & wife Tracy, 4 brothers Daniel, Harvey, Jerome & Michael Drozd, and 1 grandchild.

Funeral Service :  11am, Monday, November 4, 2024, at Kubena Funeral Home.

Visitation: starting at 10am Monday at Kubena Funeral Home.
