Billie Mae Johnston, 93, of Hallettsville, passed away April 24, 2014. She was born on Nov. 1, 1920 to William & Christine Heisler Repschleger in Port Arthur, TX. She married Leroy R. Johnston on Oct. 9, 1942 in Port Arthur. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hallettsville.

Billie is survived by: her husband Leroy; son Norman Johnston & wife Janet of Anna, TX; 2 daughters, Jeanne Ward & husband Tom of New Bern, NC, and Janis Richardson & husband Merle of Hallettsville; sister-in-law Ruth Johnston; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Billie was preceded in death by: her parents; brother Bill Repschleger; and 2 sisters, Helen Porter and Lillian Hudson.

Memorial Funeral Service: 11 am, Monday, April 28, 2014 at First United Methodist Church of Hallettsville. Officiant: Rev. Melanie Monroe. Memorials: Hospice of South Texas, First United Methodist Church, or Donor's Choice. A meal will be served in fellowship hall following the service.
