Benjamin is survived by: 4 brothers, Steve Kalmus & wife Patsy of Sugarland, August Kalmus & wife Shirley of Sugarland, Daniel Kalmus & wife Doris Ann of Hallettsville, and Wilhelm Kalmus & wife Betty of Seguin; 2 sisters Leona Koonce & husband Jeffery of Hallettsville and Anita Jordan & husband Steve of Waco; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents and brother Blaise H. Kalmus Sr.
