Barbara Jean Drozd

Barbara Jean Drozd, 81 of Hallettsville, passed away June 26, 2026. She was born on December 24, 1944, to James L. & Myrtle Pustejovsky Hudgeons, in Sheridan, TX. She married Billy R. Drozd on December 15, 1962, in Hallettsville

Barbara spent many years baby sitting and caring for several children, as if they were her own. She also spent countless hours sewing and altering many a prom & wedding dresses and crochet throughout her life.

Barbara is survived by; her son David Drozd & wife Tracy, sister Geraldine Harbin & husband Donald Sr. and grandchild Daryl Morrow.

Barbara was preceded in death by; husband Billy, parents, 2 grandchildren, Amber & Matthew Drozd, brother at infancy and nephew Nicholos Hale Harbin.

Funeral Service: 11am, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Kubena Funeral Home, with Visitation starting at 10 am. Officiant: Pastor Jeremy Kraatz. Memorials: Breslau Lutheran Cemetery, Lavaca Historical Museum or Donor’s Choice. Burial: Breslau Lutheran Cemetery.
