Ann Louise Butschek, 83, of Hallettsville, died Oct. 3, 2008. She was born on July 24, 1925 to Julius & Mary Sitka Mikulenka Sr. She married William F. Butschek on Aug. 9, 1948 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Koerth.

Ann is survived by: husband William; 2 sons, Ken Butschek & wife Lydia of Spicewood, and Kevin Butschek & wife Dawn of Hallettsville; 2 brothers, Julius Mikulenka Jr. of Victoria, and Alvin Mikulenka of Hallettsville; 2 sisters, Loraine Butschek of Hallettsville, and Marilyn Brosch of Hallettsville; and 2 grandchildren, Chase and Colin Butschek.

Ann was preceded in death by: her son William Butschek Jr., brother George Mikulenka, and her parents.

Service: 11 am, Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Monday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 7 pm, Monday at Kubena Funeral Home; and 10:30 am, Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers: Chase Butschek, Collin Butschek, Dalton Powell, Fred Butschek, Gilbert Butschek Jr., and Mark Butschek. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: Odyssey Hospice Home.
