Anita Bludau Hajovsky Drabek, 89, of Hallettsville, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009. She was born on December 28, 1919, in Hallettsville to the late Ben & Emilia Bludau. Anita devoted her life to loving her family. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Anita is survived by: 2 sons, Leon Hajovsky of Hallettsville, and Larry Hajovsky of Kerrville; daughter Barbara Pesek & husband Patrick of Shiner; 2 grandsons, Aaron Pesek of Austin, and Jeff Pesek & wife Anne of Shiner; 2 great granddaughters, Cameron and Ashlyn Pesek of Shiner; 2 sisters, Frieda Bludau and Mary Louise Staudt of San Antonio; and 2 brothers, Bernard Bludau of Hallettsville, and Fred Bludau of Needville.

Anita was preceded in death by: her husband Edmund Hajovsky; infant son Joseph; parents; 4 brothers, Hilbert, Leo, Herbert and George Bludau; and 2 sisters, Adela Bludau and Lucille Friesenhahn.

Service: 10 am, Friday, Mar. 13, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Visitation: 3 pm, Thursday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7pm, Thursday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: Aaron Pesek, Jeff Pesek, Larry Sevtlik, Hilbert Bludau Jr., Matthew Bludau, and Bobby Staudt. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
