IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anita Rice
Grafe
November 21, 1957 – October 31, 2016
Anita Rice Grafe, 58, went home to her loving Savior on Monday, October 31, 2016 in Waxahachie TX. Anita was born in Houston TX on November 21st, 1957 to Leroy and Virginia (Weikel) Rice. She lived and went to school in Houston her entire childhood. Anita attended Sam Houston HS where she was involved in the bowling club, business club, was a member of the National Honor Society, and graduated in 1976. In December of 1976, Anita met the love of her life, Edward Grafe and they were married July 23rd, 1977. In November of 1978, Edward and Anita were blessed with their 1st beautiful daughter, Cynthia, and in August of 1985 were blessed with their 2nd beautiful daughter, Belinda. They lived in Huntsville and the Houston area until 1994 when they moved to Waxahachie. Anita worked with numerous schools in the cafeteria, but her passion of helping others ultimately led her to First Look Resale in Waxahachie where she served for many years as both an employee and a regular volunteer.
Anita loved her husband, children, and grandchildren with all her heart. She was passionate about so many people and things- her faith, family, pets, helping others, volunteering, visiting friends and spending time with family. She was the sweetest, most down to earth person that always put everyone else and their needs first. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Anita will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Heaven is definitely a better place with this beautiful angel.
Anita is survived by her husband, Edward Grafe; children, Cynthia Waller and her husband, Jason, and Belinda Perez and her husband, Joe; brother, Lloyd Rice and his wife, Melinda; grandchildren, Brent, Ryan, Tori, Trent, Ari and Joe Jr; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and close friends.
