Alvin E. Polasek Jr., 66, of Moravia, passed away Aug. 17, 2016. He was born on Feb. 4, 1950 to Alvin E. & Judith Lichnovsky Polasek Sr. in Hallettsville. He was a member of Knights of Columbus of Hallettsville, and Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia

Alvin is survived by his brother Thadious Polasek of Moravia.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church of Moravia. Visitation: 4 pm, Friday at Kubena Funeral Home with Rosary starting at 7 pm. Pallbearers: James Novak, Benjamin Siegel, Marvin Siegel, Coby Stavinoha, Johnnie Stavinoha Jr., and Richard Zabransky. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church, Blinn College Scholarship fund, Schulenburg Library Fund or Donor's Choice. Burial: Ascension of our Lord Catholic Cemetery in Moravia.
