Alvin H. "Doodle Bug" Fuller, 83 of Hallettsville, passed away on November 11, 2016. He was born on February 19, 1933 in Sheridan, TX, to the late Harley John Fuller & Maude Briscoe Fuller.

Alvin proudly served our country in the US Army. He married Lorene Morisak on August 7, 1960. While residing in Sheridan, he began working in the oil field. In 1982, the family moved to Hallettsville. He loved being in the pasture looking at cattle, watching wrestling on TV and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids & great granddaughter.

Alvin is survived by: 4 children, Sandra Mozisek & husband Joe of Hallettsville, Gary Fuller of Hallettsville, Belinda Fuller Finch of Hallettsville, and Cindie Stehle & husband Charlie of Yoakum, TX; 3 grandchildren, Kylan Finch of Hallettsville, Karlie Stehle of College Station, and Ashley Fuller Campos & husband Jose of Kyle, TX; one special great granddaughter Lillian Lorene Finch "Lillybug" of Hallettsville; and sister Ruth Brinkmeyer & husband Melvin of Houston.

Alvin was preceded in death by: his wife; his parents; grandparents, Joe Reagan & Madie Mozelle (Sledge) Briscoe, and John Harley & JoAnn (Jenkins) Fuller; 4 brothers, Roy L. "Woody" Fuller, Isreal "Dub" Fuller Sr., Harley Albert "Sonny" Fuller, and Richard Fuller; and 4 sisters, Estelle Tesch, Edith Burris, Mabel Botard, and Voydell Cousins.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Monday, November 14, 2016, at Kubena Funeral Home. Visitation: 4 pm, Sunday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Pallbearers: Dean Tesch, Glen Tesch, Anthony Orsak, David Orsak, Isreal "Punky" Fuller Jr., and Daryl Tesch. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: Cheetham Cemetery in Sheridan. Luncheon will be at the Sheridan Community Center following burial.
