Alma Joyce Hrncir, 90, of Hallettsville, enjoyed a blessed and full life before being called home on Saturday, May 1, 2021.  Known to her friends as "Sweet' and to her family as "Momo", she was born on August 22nd, 1930, to Eddie Majorie Lewis and H. G. Timm, Sr.  On July 4, 1949, she married the love of her life, Wilton "Bill" Andrew Hrncir of Hallettsville.  Their joyful life together included bringing three daughters into the world.

Sweet is survived by:  3 daughters, Laurinda Kay Abshier of Roanoke, Jane Pesek & husband Andrew of Hallettsville, and Terrie Pagel & husband Patrick of Brenham; 9 grandchildren, Roy Abshier IV & wife Keri, Kerri Ketchum & husband Shannon, Andrew Pesek Jr. & wife Kim, Wilton Pesek & wife Shannon, Jason Pesek & wife Katie, Jonathan Pesek & wife Cheryl, Paula Carvelli & husband Frank, Janna Goodlett & husband Brandon, and Garner Pagel & wife Kate; 20 great-grandchildren, Brayden, Malia, Anna, Lainie, Gabriella, Angelina, Frank Jr, Ashley, Kayla, Travis, Hunter, Aubrey, Wilton, Cecilie, Andrea, Jaylan, Jakson, Grace, Addison and Layla; sister-in-law Julia Timm; brother-in-law Oran Thomas "Doc" Hrncir & wife Lea of Copperas Cove; and sister-in-law Ida Vivian Bludau & husband Winfred "Wink" Bludau of Hallettsville.

Sweet was preceded in death by: her husband; her parents; 4 brothers, Forrest W. "Tommy" Timm Sr., Frank Timm, Harold Gene Timm, and Henry G. "Bunny" Timm; 4 sisters, Nannie Jane "Doll" Moore, Bonnie Rae Buske, Elsie Marie "Rea" Powell, and Virginia Lee Mikulenka; and son-in-law Roy Abshier III.

Funeral Service (All attendees should wear masks): 1 pm, Friday, May 7, 2021, at First United Methodist Church, Hallettsville, TX. V isitation: starting at 6 pm Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home. Prayer Service: 7 pm, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Grandsons, Roy IV Abshier, Andrew Pesek Jr., Wilton Pesek, Jason Pesek, Jonathan Pesek, Garner Pagel; Great-Grandsons, Travis Pesek and Hunter Pesek. Honorary Pallbearers: grandchildren. Officiant: Rev. Warren Hornung. Memorials: First United Methodist Church or Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Hallettsville.
