Alice Brown , 94, of Hallettsville, passed away Aug. 30, 2016. She was born on July 5, 1922 to John C & Julie Kutac Mican in Lavaca County, TX. She married Victor Leon Brown on November 25, 1941 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Alice is survived by 1 son Royce Brown & wife Anna of Hallettsville; 2 daughters Joyce Mozisek Lienemann & husband Bill of Victoria, Texas and Barbara Etzler & husband Marcus of Stockdale, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 6 great great-grandchildren.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband; parents; 5 brothers Leon, Adolph, Frank, Willie, & Victor Mican; and 5 sisters Rosie Butler, Helen Cervenka, Mary Pustejovsky, Hedwig Spanihel, and Leona Holubec Ziegler.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 5 pm, Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home with Rosary starting at7 pm. Pallbearers: Landon Leopold, Logan Brown, Jeffery Etzler, Eric Etzler, Michael Mozisek, Craig Mozisek and Steve Mozisek. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, or Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
